Tmr's the day..i'm getting the jitters now..
I made a silly mistake just now..
I was having my afternoon nap then i woke up at around 6.30..
i thought it was 6.30 in the morning..and i was late for the o levels..
the most silly part was that i only realised the mistake was after i changed into my uniform..
so stupid..
folded some strawberries to sort of relieve stress..

Went to the country club yesterday in the night..after i went out with chieh-ling, kai wen, melanie and anthia. So busy yesterday..
Below are some photos that i took yesterday...
Then walked all the way to dionne's house to visit her chinchillas..So cute lah..look like squirrels
then realised that it was real late when i got back..

Woo hoo! It will be the official last day of school for this year!
Kinda think that time really flies..
A year ago..
I was crying because 2e5'06 had to be separated..
but now..
what I can only do is to treasure the time I have with 3e1
and wait for the o levels to arrive next year..
had a random day today again..
I don't see the reason why other classes have so many free periods while 3e1 doesn't have any..
anyway, even if there is..
I would not know what to do..
For today, managed to find some free time..
to fold strawberries..
gigantic one..
and it's green & yellow in colour..
yellow is nice!
but the small one is cuter..
took some random photos of the origami that the class made these few days..
there is of course strawberries, cubes and flowers..
it's quite amazing that paper can be folded into so cute shapes..

getting back report book tmr..
let's pray...

just had chem spa today..
so boring..
titration is much better...
had chinese ssp till 4.30 today..
so sick..

then...
sort of helped the class do the pathetic cip project..
actually not bad already...
at least we had started doing a board..
then ...
somehow..
we did not want to leave the school so early..
so the group just started talking..
about almost everything..
like..
playing five stones with strawberries?
and butterflies starts to fly out after a caterpillar's head is chopped..
quite funny actually..
went home at about 6.30
feeling quite random now...
don't know what i'm typing...?

I'm back again..
As I had mentioned in my previous post...
Let me tell you my story at OBS..
It's so fun...
It wasn't as scary as what the seniors have mentioned...
It was great..
Was in the Tenzing watch with jessica and san san
There were three campsites at OBS
Arrived at campsite two first
Four schools were involved
Bendemeeer, paya lebar, zhss and deyi

1st Day
Ice breaking activities
Belaying practice-It wasn't easy....but it was so fun handling with the rope..
Pitching of tents -the campsite was quite far away from our store.No mean feat climbing up the staircase..
Cooking of dinner-I wasn't involved in cooking for most of the meals..It was pitch black when dinner was ready. Eating at the beach in the dark was some kind interesting actually..though we had to take our torchlight most of the time.
pack stuff into a huge bag provided to prepare for land and sea expedition
the bag was super duper heavy
hardly can balance myself while carrying the bag
most of the space were stuff with oreo, cans and other biscuits

2nd day
woke up in the cold morning..
kinda feel sorry for the boys when they had to squeeze in one tent throughout the camp...
morning exercise
confirmed the items in our backpack before we set off for campsite one
loaded the damn heavy bag onto speedboats
then started with kayaking practice
practised capsizing skills and so on..
until we were ready to set off for campsite one
kinda slack during the practice
my partner was so expert
did not have to use as much strength as i did when i partnered with manish during sec 3 camp
without much effort
we were ahead of the rest
my partner almost dozed off while waiting the rest
so slack
then we even had time to admire the scenery
we saw blue cranes
and gabions
which looked like sea walls
quite amusing actually
talk something out of nothing
cause we did not know each other quite well
though we were in the same school for three years
reached camp one
had a nice afternoon bath after that
the toilet was so clean
so shuang
camp one was fantastic
looked like resort rather than a campsite
went to the hall to do high elements
did not try rock climbing this time
but something more challenging
called snakes and ladder
i'm not sure how high was it
it started off as something shaped like a snake
then a pole with rocks that are similar to rock climbing
then a rope ladder
quite challenging at some parts whereby it's slippery
i was quite lucky
i had someone's head and shoulders to step on
then i was the first girl in Tenzing to climb up and reach
all the zhonghuarians in my watch made it
so satisfying
had somewhat a relaxing dinner at the cookhouse
then pitched our tents in the dark muddy and wet forested area near campbase
used rocks as pillows
discovered who could snore real loud
3rd day
the real journey starts
land expedition
bearings, map reading skills were needed for this
so happen to be the navigator
i was unwilling at first
not easy
but since i was there
i took on the role
along the way,
many obstacles ahead
objections to which routes we could take
decided to trust my team mates
though it was quite deserted
we made it back
to camp two
then trekked again to camp three
with that sickening bag
don't know why
began to nose bleed again
so sick
reached campsite three at about five
cannot bathe because the toilet was not clean
then there was a briefing on the sea expedition for the next day
all the sea ex leaders were zhonghuarians
then pitched tents
ate on the ground
scenery was not bad
food was good
then discussed about the night duty arrangements
woke up from 3am(though duty starts at 2am)
then went back to sleep again outside our tents
on our bags
as a pillow
it was quite an interesting night
the whole watch slept together
though we were not supposed to
for me
i wanted to stay awake
but realised i couldn't
i watched the longshore drift for about half an hour before i collapsed
4th day
woke up real early to load our stuff into our life jackets and sandpipers
before we set off for the journey
i felt sorry for my partner
he was supposed to take a single kayak
because he was the navigator
but because i was the very extra person in our watch
that he had to partner me for the expedition
then we set off first
as usual
it was quite tough
it was so hot and burning
such that we had to put sunblock whenever there was a break
6-7 hours drifting on the sea
without landing
we drank, ate and peed on the sea
the worst part was that we saw something when at the deeper waters
i even asked my partner what will happen when we capsized
then instructors told us to do our capsize drill there
my gosh
but we did it quickly
there was some kind of funny incident that happened to one of our watch mate
she could not swim
she was crying and laughing at the same time
so funny
then shortly after that
i changed my partner to someone called wild boar
how clumsy was he
he could even drop his paddle while paddling
a storm quickly came after that
it was so scary
we had to depend on all of our strength to kayak
then i heard some really encouraging words that really makes sense
it goes like this "guys, this is not competition anymore, it's survival now!"
it was some kind of motivation for me
i kayaked real hard
everyone was helping one another
the storm was over soon
we were ahead of time when we reached land at camp two
we were so cold but so happy
then we washed the super heavy kayaks
to bathe ourselves as well
so wet and fun we were
we pitched tents near the shore
and began cooking our last dinner together
we had campbell soup with mushrooms, rice(the boys cooked it), sardines, baked beans and curry chicken
then we really began to talk our hearts out to one another
we talked about gossip, how each other introduced our schools
erm, for the girls only
i'm not quite sure what the boys did during the last night
i'm only sure that when we were gossiping about the guys in our tent,
we discovered that they were moving unusually
i suppose they heard something
or maybe they were still just feeling uncomfortable sleeping together in one tent
5th day
unpitched our tents for the last time
and did stocktaking for our stores
we still did some committment activities on the last day
that was JETTY JUMP
i was feeling uncomfortable
not because of the height
but we had to wear wet clothes from the sea expedition because there was not enough clothes
so wet and sticky
that i felt like jumping down straight into the sea to make myself completely wet
i jumped
they laughed
because i landed on my face instead of my leg first
so embarassing
then i stayed in the water to "rescue" my non-swimmer watchmate
then there were small frogs hopping in front of me
so freaky
then we did area cleaning for the boys toilet
you would not want to know what happened there
it was a continuation of the nightmare ever since sec 3 camp
then it was the best part of the camp
buy OBS shirts and photos
i bought quite a lot of things
keychains, polo tees and a group photos
and most importantly contacts
then we handed certificates to each other
we promised to keep in touch
i was quite sad when we left at the jetty
but all good things will always come to an end
there were so many other things that i want to tell you
but i seriously need a rest first
had quite a tough day because of open house
the only thing that i think i missed during OBS was the origami workshop
took one cube home today

Obs is just tomorrow! Ah...scared, anxious.All these weird feelings are coming up to me now..
What should I do? Just had my last dinner, choy!(touchwood) with family before Obs starts tomorrow.I've repacked my bag again, and it seems so heavy now. Weird! It was sooo light yesterday.
Aims for obs..
#01-Leadership
#02-Make new friends(especially shuai ge, if there's one)
#03-Get myself tanned-not burnt
#04-Train my perserverance
#05-Be independent(I seriously think I'm a spoilt kid)

Fears from Obs..
#01-Girl's secret
#02-I've forgotton to bring something really important
#03-Get sunburnt
#04-Clean dirty toilets(nightmare from sec 3 camp, anyway, I don't think there'll be one)
#05-No toilets to bath

I'm so happy that I've got time to blog again..
I'm so happy that I can go out and play again..

I'm so happy that I can indulge in food again..
So happy!

Yes..
Today is the last paper..
During the exams..
Though it was stressful..
Though it was tough..
It was fun..
Receiving sincere handshakes before each paper..
Ensuring confidence in each other..
It was worthwhile for all the stress that we've gone through..
